HONEY - German Shepherd, female, adopted age 10 years approx, medium size.
We were lucky enough to adopt a beautiful 10yr old GSD called Honey from you in March 2008. After settling in better than we could ever have hoped and bringing us a lot of joy along the way, my husband Tim and I were deeply saddened last week when she died. Unfortunately, what we hoped was a treatable chest infection turned out to be lung cancer and rather than let her suffer for another few weeks we took the painful decision to have her put to sleep. Sharon and Tim have adopted Sammy, a nervous young female German Shepherd that needed a special home. She has it now.
